"I have been a student of Gina's for seven years, starting in sixth grade.  The thing I like best about Gina is she never made me feel that I would not be able to learn to play and improve my playing.  Under Gina's mentoring and no-nonsense approach to teaching, I was playing fluently in the school band and placing at the annual RI All-State competition by eighth grade.  Under her mentorship, by my junior year I had earned spots in the RI Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensemble & Orchestra, and was soloing with my high school concert and jazz bands.  Gina's support, encouragement and unending patience kept me motivated to excel and most importantly to have fun and enjoy playing.  I am now heading off to college where I will continue on my musical journey playing in concert groups.  Thank you, Gina, for believing in me!"     Grace

"Gina has been my daughter Gillian's private flute instructor beginning September of 2019.  She has successfully guided Gillian through various auditions including the RI Philharmonic Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, RI Junior All-State Band, and RIMEA Solo & Ensemble Assessments.  Because of Gina, my daughter's techniques have sharpened, her love of the instrument has deepened, and her confidence playing for an audition has strengthened.  I am incredibly thankful for Gina and her ability to pivot teaching styles to accommodate online lessons during the pandemic.  Without missing a beat, my daughter has been able to continue to learn and improve her flute playing.  Having played flute since 5th grade, Gillian is now off to high school where she intends to focus on a music intense pathway while continuing her lessons with Gina."     Amy
